JK Rowling: With my life? I have got to find some meaning after Harry Potter. I will enjoy spending some time with my children which I do anyway, obviously, but it would be nice to spend maybe a bit more time with them for a while. I know I will keep writing. But what I will write, I don't yet know. And I think I will have to get over the shock of the fact that Harry is not in my life any more. It really will be a shock, because I have been writing about him for 15 years so far and by the time I finish obviously it will be 16, 17, I don't know when the seventh book will be published. It is going to be a wrench, definitely.

This isn't exactly news, but a reader sent this in and the possibility is simply too cool to ignore. JKR said at the cub reporters' press conference last month that she's shooting for a 2007 release of book seven. Like the first six books, it's bound to be released in the summer ... and seeing as seven is the most magically powerful number, just how awesome would it be if the book was released on Saturday, July 7, 2007? (Which, by the way, is 07-07-07.)

Not to mention that it'll also be book seven, year seven, and that there are seven Horcruxes.

And another cool tidbit that we completely missed: this month's Wizard of the Month at JKR.com is Bridget Wenlock. Let's see ... that's seven characters in her first name, and seven in her last!

I'm sure you all can come up with many more Harry Potter connections to the number seven, but I'll conclude this post with a quote from reader Rudy, who came up with the idea: "Wouldn't we all be in seventh heaven if the book was released on 07-07-07?"
